A WORD FROM KATHERINE RUNDELL…

A few years ago I went to work in the refugee camps on the Greek island of Chios; the conditions were terrible, and have since grown even more so. It was one of the worst places I’ve ever been,  with some of the toughest, most enduring and generous people.

The kindness we were met with was extraordinary: a Syrian family with a newborn baby refused to take the extra clothes we were trying to press on them, because, they said, someone else would need them more…

I’m so glad and grateful that O’s Refugee Aid Team are doing the work they do: it’s so urgently, wildly needed.
