At O's Refugee Aid Team, we have ONE GOLDEN RULE for all convoy volunteers: to NEVER exacerbate the traumas refugees are experiencing already, by taking pictures of them at the worst moments of their lives.

That is why you will NEVER see the faces or close-up images of refugee families and individuals in our galleries (unless we have express permission). 

​

We can and do however, take photos of the state of camps, and our own teams in situ.

 

These forge our memory banks as a taster of the conditions we continue to witness, and the beautiful people we have the honour of working with both in France and the UK...
