It's back!  It's back!  It's back!  It's BACK!

The Boy at the Back of the Class returns FOR 2026!

We are proud to announce that following the wonderful reception of the play adaptation of The Boy at the Back of the Class in 2023, Rose Theatre of Kingston, London, and Children's Theatre Partnership (CTP) are bringing the play back to theatres across the country  – including Scotland and Wales!

Adapted by Nick Ahad and directed by Monique Touko once more, we hope the play will continue to raise awareness of the daily experiences of racism, bullying  – and life-changing friendships  – refugee children often experience.

At a time of escalating warfare, growing political fascism and inhumanity, this story of a solo refugee boy and the friends who await him, remains more important than ever.

THANK YOU to everyone buying, borrowing and sharing The Boy at the Back of the Class with each other.

A large portion of royalties from both the book and its play go towards assisting us in our works, and paying for the overhead and rental costs of our two warehouse units in France and the UK.

Without these funds, we would need to make constant calls for urgent funds – which in the midst of such genocides as that occurring in Gaza, Palestine and the horrific tragedies emerging from Sudan, we remain loathe to do.
